Who we are
This policy covers atioko.com and the Atioko product. Atioko is responsible for handling information from the waitlist, accounts, billing, support, and website use. We process the conversations and other content you connect or provide to run the service.
For privacy requests, contact us on X. Keep personal information out of public posts. We will arrange a private way to handle your request.
Information we handle
- Account, waitlist, and contact information: your name, email address, authentication details, support messages, and account settings.
- Workspace information: connected website URLs, brand and content settings, connected-service credentials or tokens, and publishing preferences.
- Conversation and content information: public posts or comments and their source links, customer-provided conversations, research notes, drafts, generated articles, and published-content records. Reddit is the initial conversation source. Reviews, forums, YouTube, and other communities may be added as the service expands.
- Billing information: plan, payment status, and transaction records. A payment provider handles card details used to complete a purchase.
- Usage and technical information: website page views, referral source, approximate location, device and browser details, timestamps, and application error or security logs.
Why we use information
- Manage the waitlist and email you when access opens. We also use information to provide accounts, integrations, conversation research, content creation, publishing, and customer support.
- Process payments and keep records required for accounting and legal compliance.
- Protect the service, diagnose errors, and prevent misuse based on our legitimate interests in operating a secure service.
- Measure use of the marketing website and improve it based on our legitimate interests in understanding how the site works.
- Analyze relevant public conversations to identify recurring topics and content opportunities, subject to the rights of the people whose information appears in those sources.
We share relevant conversation excerpts and customer content with an AI provider to generate research and content for the service. We do not claim ownership of the content you provide.
Service providers and cookies
We share information with providers that host the service, store data, process AI requests and payments, deliver email, monitor errors, and measure website use. They receive the information needed for those tasks.
We measure marketing page views and outbound clicks without analytics cookies. Authentication and connected services may use cookies or similar storage needed to keep the application working.
Connected services and publishing destinations may receive information when you authorize an integration or publishing action. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply. Our providers may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where EU transfer rules apply, transfers are subject to the provider's applicable safeguards.
Storage, retention, and security
When an account is deleted, we delete its active customer records, stored conversations, and generated content immediately. Database recovery history may remain for a limited restore period. We may retain billing or other records where the law requires it.
Support messages, website analytics, and error logs are kept only as long as needed to handle requests, understand site usage, and maintain the service, then deleted or anonymized. Required accounting records may be kept longer under applicable law.
We use access controls and the security features of our service providers to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may request access to your personal data, ask for corrections or deletion, request restrictions on processing or data portability, or object to certain processing. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it. Contact us on X to make a request. Keep personal information out of public posts. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
If your organization provides conversations or other third-party material to Atioko, it is responsible for having the rights and notices needed to share that material with the service.
